my first brutal moshpit, the intense heat, the longing for even the tiniest ounce of air cond. air, the aftermath of weakness - and i loved it.
but there things i need to remember next time in a mosh pit:
- delete everything from camera
- don't bring a bag if not will to mosh with it
- bring water and food
- bring deodorant and brush
- get enough sleep the night before
- when taking photos always use flash
i was afraid the night wouldn't be worth it seeing as it was a school night and i had an assignment due the next day, but i was totally wrong. now everytime i hear them i get all smiley and start to reminisce.
gosh, john(secondhand) was so good lookin' despite he was sweating alot
Secondhand Serenade songs:
Like A Knife, Stranger, Your Call, A Twist In My Story, Vulnerable, Fall For You, Goodbye/Maybe
The Fray songs:
Heartless, How To Save A Life, You Found Me, Over My Head, Look After You, Wonderwall (cover), Enough For Now
what sucked was that by the end of it
from my time there i learnt that their were different groups of people
- those who are fans- knows the lyrics/songs/members, generally to have a good time
- those who are there to learn/get to know a new band, don't know much about them
- those who will do anything to get what they want/to be noticed
- those who are crazy and don't care about the well being of others
there will be people who don't care about people around them. them i hate. those teenyboppers who will scream their fucking heads off and break other peoples ears-chyeahh like that will get them noticed from everyone else. what pisses me off is that some people don't appreciate them very much.
There was an opening band that no one knew off. They were so disrespectful to her, when she had a really good voice that they started to boo her and not listen to them at all. I think that they were pretty good. There was times when people didn't know the songs that John sang so instead of listening to them, they would just pretend like there was no one on stage and have their own very, loud conversations.
i feel like i should 'express' my experience but we all know that i'm a moshpit noob.
current song: photobooth - death cab for cutie
current mood: hungry, full sickk
