HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE

AMAZINGGGG ! <3>massive harry potter fan (:D), but it was!
j.k. rowling is one talented and awesome woman. she has open a beautiful and magical world, where kids like me can escape from their own reality.

here are my thoughts about the movie
WARNING: these comments are a spoiler to those who haven't watched the movie

positives:
- it defiantly had more humor than the other movies: loved it when Harry drank the Felix Felisi (?)
- HELENA BONHAM CARTER! she plays Bellatrix Lestrange and she is wonderful. i adore her so much.
- the death of Dumbledore. i didn't love the fact that he died, i loved the fact that it impacted me so much that i went all emotional and teary.
- leading up to the death of Dumbledore. how Snape met up with Harry at the bottom. to me he kinda reassured to Harry that everything was alright and that he knew what he was doing. for someone who read the book and knows whats gonna happen, i know it would have help those who doesn't know what happening in some way, even though they don't know it yet(this was supposed to be something i didn't like, but now that i think more about it, it made more sense)
- draco malfoy <3>

negatives:
- Dumbledore didn't wear his signature half moon spectacles as much as i wanted him to
- the portraits barely moved!
- i didn't like that Ginny was slightly taller than Harry. i have this big dislike for girls who are taller than boys who they date
- the death of Dumbledore. i didn't like that he fell from the astronomy tower. to me it was a big defeat and, well i just don't like that he fell. i guess that they put it there to emphasis that he died, and give the audience time to soak up the tragedy.
- where is charlie and bill?! (that's two older weasly brothers) i've been dying to see them! where are you?!
- the order should have appeared wayyyyy more than they actually were

things that i didn't get:
- the very beginning. how it showed Harry and Dumbledore walking out of the Department of Mysteries. i didn't get it. i would get it was a pick up from where it left of frmm the last, but it wasn't. i watched the last movie and it didn't end off there.
- that scene where the death eaters attack the Burrow. i don't remember reading about that, but correct me if i'm wrong. if not, there was no point for that scene. it had no significance to the story, unless you count the fact that Ginny and Harry's relationship was made obvious.
- in the beginning where they kidnapped Olivander, didn't that happen in the next book? maybe i'm over exaggerating that they added stuff. BUT IT WAS GREAT THE WAY IT WAS. i need to read the book again even though i read it 2 months ago

being a big harry potter fan, once the movie was over i clapped. byself. and they call themselves big fans. i also stayed till the very end. i mean very end. no point for that becos there was nothing to wait for. i could kinda tell that there would be nothing at the end. but whatev.

overall, i give it four stars! ****
